Craft Compost

Craft Compost

Lovingly handmade, our craft compost is diverse in microbes and nutrients, because we use local waste resources to make our composts, every batch is slightly different.  Once the compost has been through temperatures and returned to ambient, we send it off to the lab for analysis.  This tells us the profile of the compost and the application it is best suited for.  To create bespoke product, we’ll often add natural additives or blend batches together.  This is definitely one of the best bits of the job!

Our social media pages detail when a new batch is ready for delivery.  Feel free to contact us if you have a specific enquiry at any time.

How to Use

Depending on the batch or the blend, the application advice may differ, but most of our batches are living soil amendments.

  • Mix into soil at specified volumes to add microbes, improve soil structure and encourage root growth.
  • Top dress for moisture retention in new or existing gardens

Our composts are entirely free from peat, synthetic chemicals, bulking agents and other undesirables.

All our composts reach thermophilic temperatures to inactivate weed seeds and pathogens, but we cannot guarantee that our compost is free from windblown seed.
