At The Soil Farm, we are focussed on restoring life to our soils by creating microbially dense composts from waste streams, saving them from being shipped off and turning them into something that benefits our islands landscapes.
Pre-Plate Food Scraps
This includes all manner of fruit and veggie peelings straight from the chopping board. (No meat, dairy or egg contamination!).
Coffee Grounds
We supply a tub solely for coffee grounds collection. Coffee grounds are an excellent source of nitrogen which is essential for composting
Cardboard *coming soon*
We accept clean, flat-packed brown cardboard (tape removed). At present we can only accept delivery of this but will be looking to add this to our collections soon.
How it works
- We give you 2 five gallon tubs to start you off
- You fill these tubs with compostable food or coffee goodness.
- We collect the tubs and leave you fresh ones
- You pay by a hassle free monthly standing order
Our collections are on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and we will work with you to find the most efficient collection schedule.
