Awareness and Education

Awareness and Education

Building a resilient food system requires informed people. Our awareness and education work focuses on reconnecting soil health, food production and human wellbeing. By sharing practical knowledge and real farming experience, we aim to deepen understanding of how regenerative systems function and why soil biology is central to long-term environmental and food security.

Get in touch

School Visits

We work with schools to introduce students to soil health, food production and the foundations of regenerative farming. Visits are practical and age-appropriate, helping young people understand where food comes from and why healthy soil matters for their future.

Farm Tours

We welcome individuals, schools and groups to visit the farm and see regenerative systems in practice. Tours offer a practical look at composting, soil biology, livestock integration and market gardening, helping people understand how food is grown and how soil health underpins it all.

Workshops

Our workshops provide hands-on learning in growing, composting and soil management. Designed for beginners and developing growers, they focus on practical skills that build confidence and strengthen local growing capacity.

Media Interviews

We regularly contribute to conversations about farming, soil health and the future of food in Guernsey. Our focus is on practical solutions, local resilience and the long-term role of regenerative agriculture in strengthening the island’s food system.

Film Screenings

We host documentary screenings followed by open Q&A discussions to explore the relevance of soil health, regenerative farming and food security within the Guernsey context. These events are designed to encourage informed dialogue and practical thinking.

Lunch & Learn

Our Lunch and Learn sessions are designed for businesses, organisations and community groups who want a clear introduction to soil biology, nutrient density and local food resilience. Grounded in real farming experience, these sessions connect the science of soil to everyday decisions about food and land.
